More pigtails

I love that Abby's hair is growing and I can finally do more than half ponytails. This was a couple weeks ago before church. I am pretty pleased with my first attempt.

Denim Diva

I love the weekends, because I finally have a chance to dress Abby up. This was last weekend, I have just started being able to put her hair in pigtails, in the last week or so!

More Self discovery and Independence !

This week Miss Abby has figured out how to take off her shirt and climb onto the chair to play with the computer ! What an adventure we are in for. She is amazing, sooo smart and busy. Jeff and I are staying on our toes, and quickly becoming exhausted each day just trying to keep up with her crazy antics !

I didn't realize tha her pants are missing in this picture, she had been paying outside and got muddy.

Do teddy bears get colds ?

Abby has had a snotty nose for the last week or so, so we have been sctioning her nose about three times a day. Jeff caught her trying to suction her teddy bear, and tried to get it on video, this was the best he could get. I guess she knows how to use it. But boy does she hate having it up her nose when we do the suctioning on her!

This lttle girl loves her yogurt

Abby thought she would try feeding herself, without a spoon. I guess that is what Daddy gets when he leaves the yogurt cup within reach of little hands !
( oh and she is definetly gaining weight with our new fortified milk and whole milk yogurt regimin, note the chubby cheeks) !

Videos of Abby this week

First she loves excersizing with daddy in the morning....

Playing in the puddles fter the rain storm.....

What a Week ( or two) !

We have had alot going on this last week or so, Jeff had some major decisions regarding school, we have started using some different techniques to get Abby to hopefully gain weight before her 18 month check up, and I have made a small but great money saving ( couoning) breakthrough !

First Jeff and school, around the middle of last week he was begining to think that getting into the Masters program that he has been looking into might not work. So he called Florida State and asked if his bachelors degree from Eagfle Gate would transfer, and of course he had gone to one of the few schools that Florida won't accept. So he talked to an instructor at Eagle Gate who told him to check out Columbia College which has a camopus here in Murray( sweet). Turns out that if he transfered his credits and finishes his Bachelors at Columbia the degree will transfer to Florida State and he will be able to get into the online masters of Forensic Science program! Can I just tell you all we were sooooo excited and this is just more proof that prayer works !

We were very worried about Abby's weight gain or lack thereof so I began googling " High Calorie Diet for Toddlers" and came up with many good suggestions, such as mixing 1/2 and 1/2 with her whole milk, feeding her whole milk yogurt ( I never knew there was such a thing) , and using spreads like cream cheese, peanut butter, extra butter , on just about anything she eats. She hasn't minded the 1/2 and 1/2 milk, and doesn't seem to mind the whole milk yogurt, which I found in the baby isle, made by gerber ( go figure) ! I also found a recipie for peanut butter dough, using equal amounts of peanut butter and dry milk, it is supposed to make a dough that can be rolled into balls for eating, kids supposedly love it. I need to get the dry milk and try it out.

I am learing more about money saving and combining coupons with sales and getting coupons for future purchases from the registers!

This all came to a grand total of $8 , I fugured it originally came to around $52 so it was about an %85 savings !!!!
