New Dress

I love putting Abby in a new dress there is something about this one in particular that makes her seem so grown up.....



Although I am begining to hate that I need to buy new ones every few months ! She is growing so fast !

Happy Fathers Day

I gave Abby a few crayons, and a fathers day card for Jeff and she got to work! I love how focused she is !!!

Laundry Detergent...




I have a couple family members who have started making this, I decided to give it a try today, SOOOOO easy to make and a fraction of the cost of what you would buy in the store.

1 cup washing soda
1 cup borax
1/2 bar of fels- naptha soap bar

mix well, use 1- 2 tablespoons per load depending on size. I found all the ingredients on the laundry isle at the grocery store. I also tripled the recipe and still have enough borax and soda to make about one more double recipe.
I tried it in a couple loads today, and LOVED it !

This evening upon returning home from work, I walk in the door and Jeff greets me by saying I have bad news, while Abby is scraeming from her crib because she just got in trouble, he says............. I just caught her with the sunscreen all over the highchair tray trying to eat it.

She had climbed her highchair ( set on the lowest setting, close to the floor) to the table, had gotten down the small diaper bag and found the sunscreen, had proceeded to open and pour it all over the tray and was trying to eat it. We think that she was thinking that it was yogurt, after all it the same consistency.

I called poison controll and was told that it is not harmful, it may make a child nauseous and possibly throwing up. Jeff had only found a smer of it on her toungue thankfully.

This little girl loves being in the pool, or really any water for that matter.

Just like Mommy..

This little girl keep me laughing, she loves to put on my shoes and today found the little purse I have given her to play with and was walking around the apartment acting like she was ready to go somewhere.
I think some kind of dress up items are in order for her birthday and or Christmas.

Good morning..

This is what I saw after getting out of the shower this morning....





So our bathroom is just kiddi corner from our eating area, so I could see her from the vanity area without exposing myself (FYI), I can usually get her set up with breakfast then hop in the shower thus killing two birds with one stone.
Today Abby decided to pour her milk onto the tray and drink it like a dog, what a mess.
