Nursery Makeover.......

Baby Girls room is finally painted !!! I have been anxiously awating this day for a long time. It has been alot of work, mostly for Jeff and my dad has been awesome to come help.

The popcorn ceiling was removed first off.....

Abby had a good time running through the "tunnel" of plastic that was draped in the bedroom and hallway.

Painting spakling imperfections in the walls, and ceiling along with painting the ceiling came next.....

Finally the paint and stripes were finished !!!

I was a little nervous about how it would all come together. I Love the way it turned out. Now to get the babys' furniture out of Abbys' room and to put in the finishing details !

Such a good helper....

Earlier this week Abby decided to try her hand at washing dishes. To my suprise she actually did pretty well.

Daddy snuggles....

Just the other day Abby was snuggling with jeff after having her bath, I asked her if I was fun to snuggle, to which she replied "nope". I then asked why daddy was more fun to snuggle than me, I was told " becauses that baby is in the way".    Well that is definetly true ! It has become alot harder to snuggle her lately but Abby loves to sit "by me" and hug and kiss little sister.

Daddy is sure loving the extra snuggles he has been getting lately.

A new past time of Abbys'...

Once in a while we will check on Abby when she has been in the bathroom for much longer than needed to do her business to find this. She was thouroughly engrossed in her movie ! I know she will most likely hate me at somepoint for using this picture but I just couldn't help myself !

Snow. snow and more Snow.....

This winter has been one of the coldest I can remember and very snowy as well. Jeff and Abby were clearing the driveway a while back and thought it would be fun to measure the snow in relation to Abbys' height.

The snow was up to her waist, and she didn't even sink down all the way. there was probably enough frozen snow ( from the lovely ice strom that we experienced a couple weeks ago) to have buried her to her armpits if not further.

Oh and that ice storm mentioned earlier was not good to us at all. First off I had to go to work that morning, and my car slid a couple times ( other drivers pulling out right in fronmt of me , or cutting me off. Forcing me to slam on my brakes). The day got even better after work. The sidewalks, roads and everything else were a solid sheet of ice.  When Abby and I returned home for the night, I decided to check the mail, on our way in and fell flat on my butt.Abby went down 4 or 5 times just getting into the house. Poor kid still has a couple bruises. Needless to say after Jeff got home we decided to call the dr. on call for my dr. who suggested going to the hospital (L&D) to get checked out and to moitor baby girl for a bit. Everything turned out just fine.
