This week has been crazy and will continue to be for a few more days, Jeff has been picking up extra shifts at the hospital and has started classes for his bachelors degree which are at night. Today is going to be one of those long days for him, getting up at 5:30 am to go to work, then straight to class, and not getting home until after 10 pm. Yesterday we celebrated Valentines Day early, since I am on call on Valentines Day, we took the money that Jeff got from selling some of his school books from last term and bought each other gifts. We went to best buy and split up, meeting back at the car when we were finished and exchanged gifts, it was pretty fun.
Abby continues to be the light in our lives, and is so much fun, I can't remember what we used to do without her, sure it makes things alittle more complicated at times, but she is worth it.
I caught her sucking her thumb last night as she was falling asleep, hopefully it will not become a habit for her.

Cute thumb sucker! Does she take a binkie at all? Yeah, I remember those days, that is when I was living in the basement in Murray (your old ward.) Shawn would leave by 6am go to school then to work and wouldn't get home until after 11pm every day. Then on weekends he did homework. It's hard but its not forever. You guys sound like your doing great, what a fun idea about the gift exchange at best buy...think I might have to use that one! Shawn would love it.

ReplyDeleteJessica! I have been such a horrible friend lately. Congrats on having baby Abby. She is so cute. I'm really happy for you guys! Isn't it fun to have a little family? I still find it hard to believe we're all grown up now with little families of our own. Remember the days of Interior Design and goofing off like little kids? I guess we were kids back then. Anyway It would be fun to catch up with you sometime soon. I live in Ogden now, so it might be difficult, but we'll have to try and work something out. Anyway congrats again. She's darling!
