Abby has been keeping us on our toes, she now runs everywhere. People think it is sooo crazy that she is soo little and so active, they all keep telling me watch out the next one will be even quicker to pick up om things like walking and such. I don't how much quicker you can get than walking at 8 months or so! She has also gotten much better at eating solid food, or should I say table food, she will now eat a very small childs portion at almost every meal, although one meal a day is usually not that good but hey I am not going to complain. She is such a big ( little girl) always wantig to do things the big girl way, like self feeding everything, if we try to help her eat the food will be spit out until she is good and ready to feed it to herself. This can make for a long meal time. She has also gotten down to omly needing about 3, 8 oz bottles a day, which should make the frozen breastmilk last until her first birthday. we have been introducing whole cows milk and she is doing great with it!
She refuses to go down the stairs at my moms backward or on her bum like most kids would, nope she has to walk down them holding our hands! I have never heard a kid her age talk as much as she does. She is already very curious about everything around her. Jeff has taught her to say "whats that?" she says "wha dat?" or "dat?" all day long, when we get her up in the morning and from her naps she always pounts to the animals on her wall and asks "what dat?"
We had been struggling to keep her occupied at church, especially durring sacrament meeting, until last week. I found a magnetic drawing board, and we took a bunch of different snacks and took up our own side bench. That was the first time in several months that she has not thrown a fit or wandered into the hall, now I know that will probably not happen every week but it sure was nice.
Here are some pictures that we have managed to get recently:
