We are going to officially start potty training Abby starting tommorow morning! We have been telling her that her nightime diaper tonight is the last one, and there are no more, hopefully this will work.
After much thought and discussion Jeff and I have determined that she is ready to go "cold turkey". She does not have pushing her to use the toilet full time, ie... no peer pressure,having the convenince of a diaper, knowing that we continue to buy the diapers, etc.
We have tried the potty sticker charts, with rewards when they are filled. This is not always a big motivator for her all the time.
She does tell us and will go succesfully when we are at places like church, resturaunts, sporting events, and even out running errands. She just gets soooo distracted playing and having a good time at home. ( I also tend to get distracted and forgetful)
I have figured out how to work the timmer on the stove( yeah I just figured that one out, how difficult could it have been, haha!) so hopefully we can make it into a game of sorts to run to the potty when it goes off!!!!
